I LOVE the Peterson guide for it’s illustrations and the simple drawings in front and back cover to guide your identification. The Simon and Schuster guide is great for it’s photography and it’s introduction really teaches a lot about mushrooms. The Collins guide is so nice! You can buy these little guides in the UK for a few pounds, full of photos and nice and small to carry into the field.
