Check out this little utube video I did while painting the background of this painting. It was an experiment to play around with shooting videos. I was standing while I painted, sometimes I find it keeps my painting much looser when doing parts like this, NOT for the feather patterns though!
I used my Field Palette of colors, sometimes I use a big tray with all the colors laid out, but lately I’ve been using my field palettes a lot to keep familiar with the colors and what can be done with them in the field.
