“Winter Shadows”

This small painting I did in the dead of winter while standing in the snow, wearing my heavy gloves and braving the cold! I was using small half sticks of pastel and sometimes I’d drop them in the snow while trying to draw with big gloves on. I worked quickly and finished it later inside.
