“Exquisite” is a painting of a beautiful young Classical Indian dancer, Suhasini Sumithra. I have seen her perform many times, grace, strength and beauty are all intertwined into her dance. It won the ‘Painting of the Month’ at the Museum of European Art in December 2002. This is the people’s choice selected out of all the artworks on display that month.
