A work in progress, I am starting this page to encompass many things. When I say “Creative Journal” I am referring to journals that a person would keep and use drawing, painting AND the written word to express and record their thoughts, studies and experiences in their life. I will include the use of the journal in history, their use today, tips on materials to use for “Creative Journaling”, links to inspiring sites to give you ideas, links to art supplies and journals to purchase, I’ll review some materials out there to let you know what I think of their quality.
I teach Journaling in it’s various forms, “Nature Sketching” is one and the other I call “Creative Journaling” because it can encompass so much. When I teach “Creative Journaling” in my class we learn fun ways to decorate our pages, how to do creative lettering, even give poetry writing a go! It is my hope to provide information here that will help both students and teachers. I’ll be able to add pages that give instruction by using my blog, show photos of my favorite journal pages and of my students pages!
This is a hatchling page waiting for it’s feathers so please be patient with it.
For now here’s a few links:

Much more to come…baby birds take time to grow new feathers!
