I did this little painting while standing out in my field on a very cold day in winter. I wanted to study the colors of the bushes, trees and the greens poking through the snow. I created a little field kit that I held in my hand while painting it, with no easel! Read about how I painted it and see photos of me working in the field here on my blog.
