“Lumby Law Cows and Corby Crags”

I painted this little study while out walking on a rainy day, from under an umbrella! I experimented by scratching the paper with the end of a paper clip and painting over it, this created the lines for the ‘tree line’ behind the cows. The dark green paint settled into the scratches, I like the effect.
