Another mouse that could be based on me, but actually it’s based on a neighbor I had in New York. We both loved gardening and we’d wave to each other across the road. She always wore a big sun hat to keep the sun off but the Wellies are something I always wear! The hills in the background are inspired by a walk in the Cheviot hills in Northumberland. I like using real things I see as my inspiration.
