I love how this one came out, I always try to base my illustrations like this on real trees. I used black colored pencil to give a rougher texture to them. I wonder who lives behind that little green door? The lake in view through the trees is inspired by the many summers we camped in the Adirondack mountains. We would have a campsite with a view of the lake, I’ll never forget it.
