“View of Housedon Hill”

I painted this in my small field sketchbook while sitting on top of a hill in the Cheviots, in the winter! We had to walk through big patches of snow to get up there but it was actually quite nice when we sat in a bit of sun. You can see the sun hitting the hills in the distance, what a great memory.
